- Summary: A well preserved Cybantyx anaglyptos trilobite head from the Wrens Nest, Dudley around 425 million years old.
- Description: A well preserved Cybantyx anaglyptos trilobite cephalon (25mm x 21mm x 11mm) dark grey/brown in colour. A pale brown, fine grained matrix is cemented to the base of the pygidium containing an Amphstrophia sp? brachiopod. The specimen is smooth and fractured with slight damage. The specimen also displays two eyes. On the matrix base, the number 15B has been written on in black ink. This indicates that this specimen was collected from Steven Birchs locality 15B. This specimen was collected from the Wrens Nest, Dudley, West Midlands. CB
