- Summary: A brachial valve of a fossil Strophonella sp. brachiopod which is approximately 425 million years old
- Description: A complete dark brown coloured Strophonella sp. brachiopod measuring (42mm x 34.5mm x 3mm). The surface of the brachial valve has a small covering of a pale brown micrite matrix between the ribs. This specimen has been fractured and has broken around the edges. Collected from the Wrens Nest, Dudley, West Midlands. CB
