  • ObjectNumber: WEDSD : 1993.261
  • Summary: A well preserved fossil gastropod called Pleurotomasia sp. which is around 110 million years old from the Lower Greensand
  • Description: A fossil gastropod identified as Pleurotomasia sp. and is fairly well preserved. The specimen is dark brown and consists of four whorls. There is slight damage to the inner and outer most whorls. A heavily weathered matrix is cemented to the concave underside of the specimen. The specimen is an internal cast of the gastropod shell.
