Collections OverviewGlass Collection
Situated in the historic Stourbridge Glass Quarter, Broadfield House Glass Museum has a magnificent collection of British glass, much of it made locally, dating from the 17th century up to the present day. Also featuring a hot glass studio on site, a varied programme of temporary exhibitions and events, and fun activites for all the family.

Geology Collection
The most important collection at Dudley Museum is Geology. There are currently two galleries given over to the collection and the very important place that Dudley occupies in the story of the discovery of the science of Geology in the United Kingdom.

The Fine Art Collection
The Fine Art Collection was started in the 1880's shortly after the opening of the Art Gallery and has been added to continuously ever since. It numbers nearly two thousand works including 250 oil paintings, 750 drawings and watercolours, 450 old engravings and 350 modern prints.

Duncan Edwards Collection
The Duncan Edwards & Local Sporting Heroes Gallery currently hosts an exhibition of football memorabilia of Dudley's most famous footballer Duncan Edwards.

The Brooke Robinson Museum
17th, 18th and 19th century British and European paintings, sculpture, furniture and ceramics, together with oriental ceramics, Japanese netsuke and inro, Bilston enamels, commemorative medals, Greek, Roman and Egyptian pottery and personal memorabilia.

Miscellaneous Collections
Dudley Museum and Art Gallery is home to a number of smaller collections comprising social history, coins and trade tokens, costume and a collection of birds eggs. The Museum contains a miscellaneous collection of 17th, 18th and 19th century British and European paintings, sculpture, furniture and ceramics, together with oriental ceramics, Japanese netsuke and inro, Bilston enamels, commemorative medals, Greek, Roman and Egyptian pottery and personal memorabilia.

Broadfield House Glass Museum

One of the best glass collections in the world can be found at Broadfield House Glass Museum in the historic Stourbridge Glass Quarter. The displays range from the 17th century up to the present day, revealing the diversity of glass and the creativity of glassmakers through the ages.

Red House Glass Cone

In the heart of the Glass Quarter stands the Red House Glass Cone. Over 100ft high, the Cone was built at the end of the 18th century and was in use until 1936. Now open to the public, you can now explore the Cone's fascinating history through film, audio guides, exhibits and demonstrations.
